Katy Perry will debut a brand new song called "Wide Awake" at the "2012 Billboard Music Awards", which will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 on ABC.

The song was written for her upcoming film "Katy Perry: Part of Me" and will be heard for the first time, live on the show. Perry debuted the song "Part of Me" at the 2012 Grammy Awards. At the time, everyone assumed the song was about ex-husband Russell Brand, though Perry later denied it.

Paris Hilton Releases New Single With LMFAO In June !

It looks like Paris Hilton  will be releasing her brand new single "After Midnight" On Air with Ryan Seacrest on June 5th and the most surprising thing is that it will even feature LMFAO!  

Paris Hilton reveals:

    "I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO. I'm going with a whole new genre. I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we've just been coming up with the most incredible tracks."

And that's not all! She'll also be on hand in Sao Paulo on June 23rd for the Pop Music Festival to perform the track, along with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, and Cobra Starship!

Well, we have to admit that it sounds promising. It's obvious that Paris is very excited about her latest collaborations.

So, the question is: "Are you looking forward to new music from Paris Hilton?"

Freddie Mercury Performs Live At The "We Will Rock You" Musical !

There are rumors that Freddie Mercury is returning to the stage just like Tupac did!

Unlike Tupac's recent Coachella collaboration with Snoop Dogg, the legendary frontman of "Queen" will not be seen as a hologram, but rather "an optical illusion."

It's probably going to be amazing because guitarist Brian May stated "People will come out saying, "did we actually see Freddie?"

It has to be mentioned that the stunt will take place on May 14th at "London's Dominion Theatre" during the 10th anniversary of the musical "We Will Rock You", a show based on the band's music.

It turns out that the band has been planning for Freddie to appear on stage again for quite some time. Brian May was actually a little bummed that Dr. Dre beat "Queen" to the punch with the Tupac hologram and explained:

    "It's a little unfortunate they did that thing with Tupac as we've been trying to make Freddie appear on the stage for quite a while. The hologram technique is something we've looked at ourselves but I think probably for a show that runs eight shows a week it's not really practical."

Chris Martin's Tribute To Adam "MCA" Yauch !

As the unfortunate news of Adam "MCA" Yauch's death spread across the internet, countless musicians and celebrities penned tributes to honor the Beastie Boy's legacy. Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin took it one step further by covering one of the group's biggest hits at a "Hollywood Bowl" concert on Friday.

Martin sang a stripped-down version of "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)" during the concert and mentioned Yauch by name.What an amazing tribute to Adam! So emotional! Watch Chris Martin's performance below.

Jennifer Lopez's "One Love" is a song included on Jennifer Lopez' seventh studio album "Love?" Just for the record, the album was released on April 28, 2011. Produced during the pregnancy of her twins Emme and Max, Love? is Lopez's most personal album to date, taking inspiration from the birth of her twins and her own experiences with love. It has to be said that recording for the album began in 2009.

The contemporary R&B song "One Love" was written by Lopez, Anesha Birchett, Antea Shelton and Emile "D'Mile" Dernst II, the song's producer.

"One Love" received generally positive acclaim from music critics who cited it as a stand-out track on Love? Critics made note of the song's indirect manner, which had references to Lopez's ex-boyfriends and husbands, such as Sean Combs and Ben Affleck.

Madonna To Collaborate With Adele ?

Madonna has revealed that she not only wants to collaborate with Adele, but she also planned to perform with her at the Super Bowl.




Madonna is a big fan of Adele and had planned to have her join the impressive line-up at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Nicki Minaj, MIA and Cee Lo Green.

In an interview to be aired Friday 20 April on ITV1’s Daybreak and Lorraine, she revealed just how impressed she is with Adele.

When asked if she would work with Adele she claimed: "Yes, I would love to. I would love to meet her, I think she’s brilliant, I love her."



She added: "I wanted her to be in the Super Bowl with me, but I think she was having her throat problem or throat operation or something."

Madonna hinted that a stage performance between the pair could still happen at Hyde Park this summer where she is set to play a one off date.

Adam Lambert Is Officially The Frontman Of Queen !!!

Queen legendary rocker Brian May is adamant late legend Freddie Mercury would give singer Adam Lambert the "seal of approval" as the eccentric star prepares to front the band at an upcoming festival.



The former "American Idol" contestant will perform in Mercury's place when Queen headline the Sonisphere festival in Knebworth over the summer.

And guitarist May insists the band's iconic star, who passed away in 1991, would be happy with their latest addition.

He states: "Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush."


 Lambert admits he can't wait to get on stage with his heroes, adding: "I'm completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon. The thought of sharing the stage for a full set is so beautifully surreal. I'm honoured to be able to pay my respects to Freddie's memory. He's a personal hero of mine and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know the evening will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger (Taylor, drummer) and the rest of the band I know magic will be on display."

 It has to be mentioned Lambert previously performed with the surviving members of Queen at the MTV European Music Awards in November.

"Glee" Star Pays Tribute to Whitney Houston !

Amber Riley's Glee cover of "I Will Always Love You" by the late Whitney Houston has been unveiled.

The 25-year-old's character Mercedes Jones performed the track in the Fox sitcom's Valentine's Day special, which aired in the US last night.

Riley's tribute had been planned long before Houston passed away at the Beverly Hilton this weekend at the age of 48. 

As previously reported, the episode was tweaked to pay tribute to Whitney Houston, with the show closing on a title card reading: "Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you."

After watching her Glee performance, Riley wrote on Twitter: "Ok I got through it, only minimal tears. I hope you are proud Ms. Houston. :) thanks guys for the kind words."

Her co-star Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) also praised Riley's rendition on the social networking site, telling her: "'I Will Always Love You,' best part of my life. Ms. Houston is bragging about you in heaven."

Speaking about her adoration for Houston at this weekend's Grammy Awards, Riley explained: "Whitney's music meant so very much to me. I was very very choked-up when I heard about her passing.

"I'd grown up listening to her voice ringing out throughout our household. I'm so speechless, I can't believe that she passed."

Will Madonna Face Lawsuit Over "Give Me All Your Luvin'" ??

Madonna may face a lawsuit over her latest single "Give Me All Your Luvin'".

 Brazilian singer Joao Brasil claims that the track's chorus contains elements from his song 'L.O.V.E. Banana'.



Brasil's record company are thinking of a possible lawsuit over the track, however Brasil himself has revealed he would rather not face off against the singer.


"I still don't understand what happened. I'm a huge fan of hers. If it's plagiarism, then even better. She is always at the cutting edge of music, so it's a good sign about what I do," he told Brazilian newspaper Folha da Sao Pauolo.

"It's in [the record label's] hands, they're looking at how to proceed and what they can do. But personally I don't want to do anything. The last thing I need in my life is a fight with Madonna."

Well, I heard the song. It's obvious there is a huge similarity between Madonna's song and Joao Brasil on the track's chorus. Madonna will laugh so hard if she ever faces a lawsuit by this Brazilian singer. The "L.O.V.E Banana" song is unbeleivably ridiculous. The video clip is inexcusable. Even Rebecca Black seems a genius when you watch this video clip...Where is QUALITY?

Whitney Houston #1 On iTunes And Amazon Charts

Whitney Houston has posthumously topped a number of online music charts with her "Ultimate Collection LP."

The singer's 2007 album reached number one on the iTunes chart, as well as Amazon's CD and MP3 charts following her death at the age of 48!

Meanwhile, her March "2000 Greatest Hits" compilation currently sits at two on ITunes and five on both of Amazon's rankings.

It is preceded on the Amazon MP3 chart by "The Essential Whitney Houston", released in the same year, at four.

In addition, the soundtrack to her 1992 film "The Bodyguard", which features her iconic cover of "I Will Always Love You" , is seventh on Amazon's list of bestselling CDs.

Houston is expected to dominate singles and album charts next week, with sales in the UK "already surging" according to the Official Charts Company.

The late singer's chart success comes as iTunes users accused Apple of "cashing in" on her death by increasing the cost of her back catalogue.

Dolly Parton's Statements About The Grammys And Whitney Houston

"I was brought to tears again last night, as I'm sure many were, when Jennifer Hudson sang "I Will Always Love You" on the Grammys in memory of Whitney," Dolly Parton , who originally the song in 1974 , revealed to "Access Hollywood" on Monday.

"Like everybody else, I am still in shock. But I know that Whitney will live forever in all the great music that she left behind. I will always have a very special piece of her in the song we shared together and had the good fortune to share with the world," Dolly's statement continued. "Rest in peace, Whitney. Again, we will always love you."

It has to be mentioned  that  Dolly  Parton originally wrote the song in June 1973 for her longtime partner and mentor Porter Wagoner , achieving her own chart success, hitting #1 twice with the song on the Billboard country charts.

Why Was Jennifer Hudson Chosen For Whitney Houston Tribute ?

Following the sudden death of Whitney Houston, producers of the Grammy Awards made the last-minute decision to invite Jennifer Hudson to pay tribute the legendary singer. 

The reason? 

Not only because of the singer's strong vocals, but also because of her own personal experience dealing with tragedy.

"Jennifer has had this experience herself in her own personal tragedy, " Neil Portnow, president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences told the press following the Grammy ceremony Sunday (February 12th).

"Taking the stage in that moment, you sort of think maybe she can deal with what the emotions will be. Not every artist can do that."

Portnow praised Hudson for keeping it simple during her rendition of"I Will Always Love You," which was one of Houston's biggest hits. "When something like this happens what's great for me is I have the A-team that creatively figures these things out," Portnow said of the decision to choose Hudson. 

"We sat down and tried to figure out what we thought would be approrpiate. If this were a week [after Houston's death], there may have been a different approach. My thinking was simple, elegant, something that's uplifting, something that inspirational, and somethings that's healing [because] we're all hurting"

 It has to be pinponted that Chaka Khan was originally scheduled to share the stage with Hudson but was too grief-stricken to perform. During the touching performance, Hudson appeared to get emotional only briefly but held it together to complete the song. Today, Jennifer's grace and poise on the Grammy stage is considered a perfect tribute to the fallen diva.

Nicki Minaj's Grammys Performance 2012 Simply Sucks!

Nicki Minaj levitates during her performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old rapper kicked it off by confessing the lyrics to her new single, "Roman Holiday," while sitting next to The Pope, the same man she walked with on the red carpet earlier in the evening.

The performance, called "The exorcism of [Nicki's alter ego] Roman," was choreograhed by Laurieann Gibson and featured religious imagery, pyrotechnics, and backup dancers dressed as monks.


"OMG @ that chris brown performance. >>>>>>>> SHUT DOOWWWNNNN," Nicki tweeted about another one of the night’s performers.

In my opinion, this is again one horrible performance of Nicki Minaj.

Why everything that she does SUCKS?

Absolutely everything...She is so damn FAKE! Her song lyrics don't make sense, the rhythm is always annoying, her live performances and video clips are irritating...Why all this act? Are we in a circus?She appeared with someone who reminisces the Pope. How ridiculous is that? She tries to shock but the only thing that she manages is to look so ridiculous and stupid. Seriously, do you think that this singer will make history? She doesn't even make a single hit!Why all this promotion? Why many worthwhile singers collaborate with her? Honestly, I don't understand..

Jennifer Hudson's Tribute To Whitney Houston At Grammys !

Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely gorgeous on stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old singer performed a sweet and simple rendition of the classic song "I Will Always Love You" in a tribute to the late singer Whitney Houston.
It was announced last night shortly after Whitney's death that Jennifer would perform a tribute performance during the Grammys.

Jennifer's performance followed an In Memoriam segment that honored such talents as Amy Winehouse, Clarence Clemons, and Steve Jobs.

Kelly Clarkson In Her Own Words About Her Super Bowl Performance !

The single voice that kicked off what would turn out to be an amazing game for the New York Giants belonged to "American Idol" contestant Kelly Clarkson.

The singer gave a soulful rendition of the National Anthem, hitting every note and remembering every word despite being "really nervous" prior to her all-star performance.


"Just finished rehearsing the anthem in Indy ... wow, I'm actually really nervous about singing at the Super Bowl ha!" she wrote on her WhoSay account. "Here's hoping I nail it and don't screw it up!"

And Clarkson, 29, had good reason to be nervous.

Last year's “Star-Spangled Banner” singer, Christina Aguilera, was skewered by the media after she flubbed the lyrics.


At one point, Aguilera belted out, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last reaming," where the lyrics should have been "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming."

Said one Twitter user at the time: "Egypt thanks Christina Aguilera for botching the national anthem and bumping them off the Twitter trending list."

Thankfully, Clarkson's feedback was a lot more positive.

"Guess what ... I've never been more nervous in my life than singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl tonight ... wow that was almost not fun I was so nervous!" she wrote on her account after the game. "Fun night overall though!

"Thank you everybody for all of the nice things you're saying about my performance! I really appreciate it. :)"

M.I.A has released a video for her single "Bad Girls" and it SUCKS!

What a crap! This is pure garbage! Who will dance to this tune?

Well, she relates to Minaj except that she adds an ethnic tune on her songs...It is Muslim Gangsta in my opinion...She gives me the impression that she wants to promote and trend Arabic people... 

This is what Madonna would call "Reductive"... Remember Neneh Cherry in the 90's?? Well, she is the new Neneh! For those who are not familiar with her, go on you tube and watch "Buffalo Stance"!!!You will understand exactly what I mean! She doesn't relate to a vast majority of people. It's obvious that she wants to be heard by the  few... It's funny because even the commercials on you tube right on her video promote vacations to Dumbai...No offense! She is like a Slumdog Millionaire! 

As for the lyrics? What kind of negative bullshit is that?

"Live fast, die young"?? Well, this is a nice way to start a song!

And am I supposed to dance to this??

To celebrate my life before a bullet finds me or maybe my chain hits me so hard that my chest can't handle it??

This is ridiculous! Give me a break! Where is quality?? Maybe her chain hurts her creativity! Quality can't survive!

 For the record M.I.A has collaborated with director Romain Gavras for the video. She hasn't found the title of the album yet and it is set for release this summer.
