It seems as if Macaulay Culkin has been left home alone without any food.
The former child star looks nothing like the adorable 8-year-old he once was in the movies, appearing gaunt, pale and skeletal as he posed for pictures with fans in the city this week.
The shocking pictures have fans of the “Home Alone” star, now 31, worried he might be seriously ill.
But a rep for the manorexic-looking movie star claimed yesterday he’s in fine shape and has no problem with drugs or alcohol.
"Macaulay Culkin is in perfectly good health," his rep, Michelle Bega, stated. "For any media outlet to speculate otherwise is reckless, thoughtless and destructive."
It has to be mentioned that Culkin was arrested for possessing pot, Xanax and pain pills in 2004.
Bega refused to reveal how Culkin supports himself, but admitted he has no upcoming projects.
Industry sources said Culkin pays bills with millions he still has left from his years as the world’s most successful child star since Shirley Temple.
He also earns pocket change from bit parts in independent films, TV voice-over work and occasional club gigs where he “deejays” — creating a 6-hour lplaylist on his iPod and then plugging it into a club’s sound system.
Last night, he was supposed to bring the act, aptly called “Macaulay Culkin’s iPod,” to the Bleecker Street lounge "Le Poisson Rouge".
But a few hours beforehand, the nightspot announced on Facebook that Culkin wouldn’t be there.
His iPod was sent over, but the event’s name was changed to “Macaulay Culkin’s Food Drive.”
Fans were instructed to "Bring Canned Goods to Get in Free to the Party," but only a couple of items were there.
One of Culkin’s pals said the actor was doing well and, "Everyone has weird photographs. He’s awesome, he’s great."

What do you think? Is Macaulay anorexic, depressed, drug and alcohol addict or absolutely healthy?
