President Ronald Reagan's Blood For Sale !

An auction peddling what's purported to be a vial of late President Ronald Reagan's blood has generated thousands of dollars in bids and a heaping helping of controversy.

The vendor selling the vial claims his mother pulled the actor-turned-politican's blood at the "Bio-Science Laboratories" in Maryland. The blood, the vendor stated, was initially drawn at the George Washington University Hospital following the president's March 1981 shooting at the hands of John Hinckley, an obsessed Jodie Foster fan who was trying to impress the actress with the outrageous crime.

But real or not, many tied to the country's 40th president have spoken out against the sale.

It has to be noted that the executive director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, John Heubusch, called the sale "a craven act," pledging the foundation "will use every legal means to stop its sale or purchase.

"Any individual, including a President of the United States, should feel confident that once they enter into the care of a medical system their privacy and rights are held inviolable," he quoted as saying.

Dr. Joseph Giordano, who headed the hospital's trauma team when Reagan was shot, stated that "people’s specimens or bodily fluids" have no place on the market.

"You have no permission to do that," the doctor claimed. "It’s unethical."

The unidentified seller stated he rebuffed requests to donate the vial to the late president's family.

"I was a real fan of Reaganomics and felt that President Reagan himself would rather see me sell it rather than donating it," the vendor said in a statement.

It has to be mentioned that the auction is being held at PFCauctions.com, which is based in the United Kingdom.

What do you think of it?

In my opinion, selling President Reagan's blood is totally unethical, disrespectful and pure exploitation! It is unbeleivable the way people think in order to make money! Hope this auction will never happen.

Justin Bieber's DNA In Necklace Pendants !

A Canadian company had the "creative" idea to sell cloned sample copies of Justin Bieber's DNA in necklace pendants!

"Celebrity Gene" obtained and extracted the DNA from a piece of Justin's hair and will begin selling the pendants at the end of May on their website, with the cloned copies retailing for about $120 Canadian and the original strand will sell for big bucks sometime in the future.

"We wanted to make this item so that all tweens can afford one and always carry around Justin," head DNA scientist at Celebrity Gene, Ryan Lehto, quoted as saying.

"We obtained his hair DNA due to popular demand and because we like that he is Canadian and how he went from YouTube to an international superstar!" Ryan Lehto added.

It has to be mentioned that each DNA pendant will come with a silver box chain and a certificate of authenticity.

"Celebrity Gene" currently sells DNA pendants from other famous icons such as Mozart, Elvis Presley, George Washington and Mickey Mantle.

What do you think of "Celebrity Gene"? Do you consider this company's concept creative or creepy? Hope at least they have the rights of the people mentioned because they make a profit by selling actually an illusion...

A Bridge Called "Chuck Norris" ?

Slovaks have been voting overwhelmingly in favour of naming a new pedestrian and cycling bridge near their capital after 1980s US action film and TV star Chuck Norris.

The two other top names in the running for the bridge, which will span the Morava river and cross the border to Austria, were Maria Theresa after an Austro-Hungarian empress and the Devinska cycling bridge in honour of the closest village.

Norris, a martial arts expert-turned film star, is known for playing tough guy characters in such movies as "Lone Wolf McQuade", "Missing in Action" and "The Delta Force".

The actor's work has become a popular source of kitschy fun among Slovaks and a mainstay for local jokes about macho strength and invincibility.

The final decision will be up to a regional assembly. But regional governor Pavol Freso has said it would follow the wishes of the people in the internet ballot where Norris leads as the top choice for the bridge's name.

"The same way as we have so far been building it in full sight of the public, we will seek that the name is accepted by the public as well," he said.

The voting will run until April. As of Thursday, 1,157 votes have backed Norris, 74% of the total, leaving the runner-up "Maria Theresa Bridge" far behind with 8%.

Fran Drescher: "I Was Abducted By Aliens"

Fran Drescher strongly believes she was abducted by aliens. Seriously!

In an interview with "The Huffington Post", the "Nanny" and "Happily Divorced" star said she and her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson both had a close encounter when they were teenagers.

"Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads," Drescher stated.

"We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot."
Jacobson claims Drescher's scar is from a drill bit or is the result of burning herself with hot water. But Drescher won't be swayed.

"That's what the aliens programmed us to think," she claimed. "But really, that's where the chip is."

Who really knows? Maybe this finally explains Drescher's one-of-a-kind laugh?

Kim Kardashian's Conversation With Barbie!!!

Kardashian sent out a series of tweets on Sunday evening, including two messages to the official Twitter account of Barbie.
"Merry Christmas Barbs @BarbieStyle! Long time no see! What did Ken get you for Christmas? Miss you doll!" she wrote to the social media account of a fictitious plastic toy.

When the toy  responded (??), Kardashian added, "I'm sure we will be seeing lots of each other!Shopping soon!Xo RT @BarbieStyle: Happy Doll-idays to you too @KimKardashian! See you in 2012?"

So, what does this mean? One, it's the continuation of a trend that Kardashian began in 2009, when she played Barbie on the cover of Australia's Kurv Magazine.

Perhaps it's hard to blame Kardashian for her confusion of real life and "reality." After all, every weekend she's forced to live tweet an episode of a TV show ("Kourtney and Kim Take New York") that depicts her in a seemingly fraudulent marriage that for the most part no longer exists.

Another theory: on Twitter, real and fictional people intermingle on such a regular basis that, so long as one has an avatar, it doesn't matter whether the words come from a human personality or an abstract entity or property being personified by a marketer.

Kardashian sells her clothing and personal appearances on Twitter in the same way she shares her "thoughts," and she's even said that she is her own brand, her own product. In that case, perhaps her communicating with another brand and product isn't all that unnatural.

Is Lady Gaga Her Aunt's Reincarnation??

The 25-year-old singer claims she's the reincarnation of her aunt and insists she has walked the Earth before in a previous life. Oh and she also believes she has two hearts!

She made the gaga claim in an interview in Japan where she is currently promoting her album. She confessed that her spiritual beliefs have made people think she is crazy.

"I believe that I had a reincarnation and believe that you can be reborn over and over again. I believe I was my father's sister and her spirit is with me. I believe I am her reincarnation. When I talk about this in America they look at me like I am crazy cakes.

"My middle name is Joanne, which is my dad's sister's name, and her middle name is Stephanie, which is my birth name," she added. "It all just kind of comes together in this interesting way. Whenever I see my grand-mother or my family, they say: 'You look so much like her.'

"And I believe she had so much unfinished business on this Earth. She was a poet, writer and painter. I have two hearts and one is hers."

Celebrities With Ghost Experiences!!!

1. Jenna Bush

While her dad, George W., was president, Jenna Bush swears she ran into one (or more!) of the allegedly numerous White House ghosts. Her bedroom, you see, was graced with a fireplace—which she claimed has a tendency to play 1920s-era music. One night after hearing such music emanating from the fireplace, Jenna ran into her sister’s room. Her sister, of course, didn’t believe her—until the next night, when she stayed in Jenna’s room with her. Seeing may be believing, but hearing might be, too.

2. Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith didn’t just encounter a ghost—she had sex with one. Regularly. The first time that it happened, she thought that it was her boyfriend; however, she soon figured out that this wasn’t the case. She was pretty okay with it, though—she said the sex was great!

3. Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson revealed during the filming of Skeleton Key that she’s had her fair share of ghostly encounters. She’s seen a ghost with no face—a commonly ghostly archetype—more times than she can count, and once, the spirit of her grandmother visited her. At least granny’s still looking out for her from beyond the grave!

4. Nicolas Cage

Nic Cage also has a whole bunch of ghost stories in his arsenal. His favorite, though, involves a time that he was staying at Francis Ford Coppola’s house in Napa Valley. Nic was staying in the attic when late one night, a woman with big hair appeared. At first, he thought it was his aunt. But when she approached him… well, let’s just say that he found out quite quickly that it was NOT his aunt. He doesn’t know who it was, but she scared the bejeesus out of him.

5. Matthew McConaughey

In 2003, everyone’s favorite shirtless wonder was living in a haunted house. The first time he encountered his ghost, he freaked out: He kept hearing noises that sounded like a dime getting dropped about ten feet (have you ever heard a dime get dropped ten feet? It’s loud. Seriously.) He leapt out of bed—buck naked, of course—grabbed a baseball bat, and started running around the house like a mad man. He’s since made his peace with his ghost, though; he calls her Madame Blue, and he says that they get along quite well. He suspects his constant nudity has something to do with it.

6. Keanu Reeves

Keanu’s tale doesn’t really have a resolution, but it’s a creepy image all the same. When he was five, he and his sister encountered a ghost in the house they were living in. The ghost wore a white double-breasted suit—except that he had no legs. Spooky.

7. Ace Frehley

KISS guitarist Ace Frehely got punched in the face by a ghost once. Well, maybe “punched” is the wrong word, since his ghost wasn’t corporeal; it did, however, grab a book off the top of a water cooler in his recording study and throw it at his head. It landed. Ouch.

8. Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen the Devil Child has not only seen ghosts, but more importantly, has actually gone looking for them on her own: After her mother’s elderly neighbor died, young Taylor promptly decided that the thing to do next was to go ghost hunting. So naturally, she went into the deceased lady’s home and had a good look around. Taylor claims she snapped two clearly ghostly photos: One of a disembodied hand on a typewriter and one of the old woman’s whole body visible in a window.

9. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart

When British acting greats Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen  were performing Samuel Beckett’s play Waiting for Godot at the Haymarket Theatre in London, Patrick had a night where he froze for a moment in the first act. Later on, Ian asked him what had happened. His response? “I just saw a ghost onstage during Act I.” If there was ever a good reason to freeze up, that’s certainly it! They found out afterwards that the ghost is believed to be that of John Baldwin Buckstone, an actor-manager from times gone by who tends to appear during comedies performed at the Haymarket. Now, I know some might not classify Godot as a comedy, but I beg to differ—and so, apparently, does John Baldwin Buckstone.

10.  Alyson Hannigan

The How I Met Your Mother star lives with her husband and daughter—and a ghost! He’s appeared a few times, most notably once in the bathroom window. The kicker is that Alyson knew that at that time, it couldn’t possibly be her husband, Alexis Denisof. She’s not sure who the ghost is, but she kind of wants to find out. So maybe there’s still a story yet to unfold!

11. Joe Hill

Stephen King isn’t the only writer in the family! His son ,Joe Hill,  has been making literary waves of his own with novels such as "Heart-Shaped Box" and "Horns", a short story collection entitled 20th Century Ghosts, and the comic book" Locke and Key."

" Locke and Key" was recently made into a television pilot . On his way back from shooting the pilot in Pittsburgh, Joe found himself in a ghost story of his own. He stayed at the Bethlehem Hotel in Pennsylvania, which not only acknowledges itself as a haunted hotel, but which profits off of it: They have a package called “A Room with a Boo” that includes a stay in room 932, the hotel’s allegedly haunted room. Alas, on the night Joe was to stay there, 932 was booked; so instead, he stayed in the room directly below it. It’s possible that 832 gets the residual effects of 932, though, because in the middle of the night, Joe woke up feeling more terrified than he had ever felt before in his life. He was certain that there was something in the room with him sitting on the end of his bed, but he found himself paralyzed and couldn’t life his head to see who—or what—it was. He could scream, though—which he did, as loud as he could. Which, by the way, was followed by a whole bunch of thumping from the room above him. Guess he gave room 932 a “boo” all his own!

How a karaoke singer for 27 years feels about recording her first cd at 87!!!

Karaoke queen Rose Strickland has been belting out tunes in pubs up to six times a week for the last 27 years — racking up nearly 10,000 performances.

And now the mum-of-five, who claims she can sing higher notes than Susan Boyle, hitting top C with her soprano voice, has finally released a disc of her favourite tracks.

Known as the undisputed karaoke queen of Telford, Shrops, Rose has recorded 14 covers from artists including Frank Sinatra and Whitney Houston on her CD, Rose Sings.

She said of recording her album: "I only stopped once for a cup of tea. It was the most wonderful experience and I wasn't nervous at all. I even started to dance at my own singing.
"They said I was fantastic. I can reach higher notes than Susan Boyle. I was always told I was a lyric soprano but the lads at the studios said you are a soprano, you're great.

"Two of the songs haven't got any music, they're just me singing away."

Former kitchen assistant and cleaner Rose — who has been married twice and lost second husband Bill just a few months ago — has previously tried to wow Simon Cowell and the judges on Britain's Got Talent.

But she was left disappointed after failing to get the nod to go in front of the cameras.

Rose said: "Maybe it was something to do with my age. But I am going to do it again with another song which more people may prefer to hear."
